Cancer.

I had a dream I was dying today.

I went to sleep feeling fine, but while I was asleep I was aware of a splitting headache at the top of my head. My ears were ringing terribly, too. It was the strangest sensation ever; I was deeply asleep but I was still aware of everything around me. In the dream, I had a brain tumor. Deadly.

I woke up not thinking much of it, but later on I got kinda scared. I mean, I had a headache and I’ve been feeling sick lately. That was the first time I truly thought about death. My death… And how fragile life is. I got really scared just thinking about what would happen if I did have cancer. I was almost to the point of tears. I probably would of cried if my mom wasn’t with me. A dream has never affected me as much as that one did.

That dream made me realize just how delicate life is. How you can’t waste your time, cause you never know when that life will be taken away from you….

I need to stop messing around. I need to focus…I need to make a difference. Right now I have that privilege. It’s a beautiful privilege to have. I can’t take advantage of it anymore, cause any day it could be taken away.

So, umm, on a brighter note, my first "Music Man" show was tonight. It went well. Everyone had smiles on their faces. It makes me happy to make people smile.
