First Day

Oooh, so it was my first day at work today. Was quite nervous, especially when I got there and it was all locked up with no one around. Bet yeah, wasn’t a bad day. Couple of idiot kids shouting abuse, but that’s about it. My brother came in to see how I was doing, which is nice of him.

Not much to say, really, spent some time trying to get the old labels off some coffee tins, which was an absolute nightmare. Had to use nail polish remover to get some of the glue off, stunk out the whole shop and gave me a headache.  Oo, and while Erica (my boss) was upstairs, I was using the till and it didn’t recognize a chocolate thing and I got really embarrassed as I didn’t know what to do, but I got to ring the assistance bell, which was kind of cool.

So yeah, it all turned out ok. Going back on Saturday. Eek!
