3 Months To Go!

The title says it all!
3 more glorious months until the big day. I’m feeling light headed and giddy thinking about it. *squeel*
Wedding preperation has been going smoothly. My matron of honor is a doll. She’s been my best friend for practically forever and she’s been through all the steps herself seeing as she’s married. She knows just the right questions to ask, and makes sure I have given all the details. I’m a little sad that my close friend here in Yellowknife has stopped talking to me for one reason or another. I know I’m not overly social as my diary entries as of late show. But anytime I brought up the wedding she wouldn’t even acknowledge the subject, and she was originally going to be my maid of honor. Oh well I’m not going to let it get me bummed out. As I said I have my long time friend willing to help me from such a great distance.
So other than planning the wedding not alot has been happening. Colin and I are both working steadily and putting away whatever money we can. We finally opened a joint savings account. Colin recently came into some money though a family death. Unfortunate, but the money was gifted to us as a wedding gift. And thankfully with it, we don’t have to worry about ourselves finacially for some time should something happen.
Colin and I have been discussing moving sometime in the next year. I’m torn between staying in my nice well established rut here in the North, or moving closer to home were most of my friends and family are. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
When Colin and I are not out doing errands meeting up with friends or working on the wedding, we’ve been sitting back and relaxing playing the most addictive game in the World…..of Warcraft. LOL Call me a nerd, call me a geek, call me what ya like, but I find the game very relaxing. I can put my real world problems aside, release any inner stress through the game. It’s challenging and keeps me entertained for a few hours week.

I guess that’s all that’s new with me.
