We had a scare a week and a half ago.
I started cramping bad (worse then the normal ligament pains)  and had some spotting.

I ended up in emerg – which ended up with a pelvic exam, blood work and urine test.  The ER doc bumped my ultrasound up to the monday (I went into emerg on sat, my original US was supposed to be the wednesday)

I didn’t have anymore spotting or cramping after Sunday (typical right?!?) and they called monday morning to book me for my ultrasound (at 1 that day)

I was nervous going in… every other MC I’ve had has started out the same way that the weekend had played out – so I went in expecting the worst.

I laid on the table (both boys with me since Kev was away at work til that night) and the lady put the wand on my belly… I saw a baby, but didn’t see a heartbeat – my heart sank and I think I held my breath.

She finally told me everything looked good -and showed me the heartbeat!!  RELIEF! Phew!  (142bpm)  Measuring a bit different then what my LMP would give me (about a week behind)  but right on par for when/around I figured I did ovulate!  Plus, with being so small, it can be off 5 days the US tech said.

All in all – baby is doing good! Growing, and momma still feels nauseated, and I have a LOT of food aversions (combined with a gluten intolerence) makes it hard to eat properly…or at all! LOL

Preston had his birthday this last weekend – my big boy is 3!! Where did the last 3 years go…wow! It’s nuts.
He ended up getting a fever for his party (sat the 16th) and was lethargic and sick until monday afternoon… it was brutal! Poor baby was having a rough go!!  I’m hoping  no one else gets it (but no one so far is sick yet!)  Hopefully it was just a quick sickness and now he’s better.

All in all – life is going good! ðŸ™‚

Oh goodness, so glad everything is okay!

I am glad your little bean is still all “swimmy and happy” in your uterus. By the way, I think you need to update your tickers at the bottom of your page. 🙂
