What God has to say about PREJUDISM…

Hey all! I was baptized today! OMGOODNESS, I was soooooo shaky through the whole process….I wanted to cry through parts of it because I was just SO touched! It felt REALLY good to be baptized. It was so awesome…
So NOW, I am considered a Methodist! I guess that’s cool….or maybe REALLY cool because I think that the church is awesome! I was such a good feeling too.

I’ve learned today that my grandmother was WRONG!!!! Lol…she’s been telling me crap that “Races shouldn’t mix”…well well…I just learned that THAT is NOT at all true. Chris (my youth pastor) showed me a verse that was from ACTS 10:28…it goes something like this:

“And he said to them, ‘You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him; and yet God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean’ ” (the message from Peter)

And before that in ACTS 10:26, it says “But Peter raised Cornelius up saying ‘Stand up; I too am just a man”

In John 4:7-10…listen to this:

“7 There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, ‘Give me a drink.’ 8 For His disiples had gone away into the city to buy food. 9 The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, ‘How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?’ (For Jews have no dealing’s with the Samaritans.) 10 Jesus answered and said to her, ‘If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.’ “

Ok, from the above one (the last verse I gave), Jesus was basically telling the Samaritan woman that she was basically no less or greater than anyone else and that everyone should be equal to eachother. In ACTS, John was given the message from our God that EVERYONE no matter what religion you are, what race you are….you treat others different from you like you would treat those that are alike to you. It means how it is said…that no one should be called unholy or unclean. It also says up at the top when John says “Stand up, I too am just a man”. That tells us that God told John that basically what I already said…but I’ll say it again because I want you all to GET THIS STRAIGHT, lol…We MUST learn to LOVE one another and it’s OKAY to love someone that doesn’t have your color of skin, you belief in religion, ect. As long as you are there to learn about God and do God’s work….everything is fine. God wants us to love one another and not discriminate eachother…
…Hehe, I think I’m gonna teach this tomorrow…lol. I REALLY like it. Now I know the truth and I don’t have to listen WHAT my grandmother says about “not mixing races because IT’S A SIN” crap! Lol, she shouldn’t be talking because if THAT was true, then she is a walking child born by sin. She has cherokee in her, german in her (yes people, just because most of the people there in Europe have a skin color of WHITE, does NOT mean that they are the same race…because actually they are different races…same with asians, africans, ect…..we have thousands of races), she has english in her, she has denmark in her, scottish…ect. She has a lot along with me…so she needs to shut her mouth and not talk…lol.

Well, I feel good about right now! I’m happy that I am a new person and that I have gotten baptized. I guess I’m gonna go now ^_^…I love you all BUNCHES!!
