Wedding catastrophe averted and third interview

Wedding catastrohpe averted. Some estimates ballooned yesterday by no less than a few thousand dollars. Initially neither of m folks were willing to help pay for the wedding. Then my mom came around and yesterday my dad assured me he would cover the new costs. WHAT A RELIEF!

On Friday afternoon, yesterday, I had my Skype interview with the CEO and Supervising Producer at the software game company my friend started. It went very well and I’ve been invited to the third interview on Monday afternoon to have a face to face with the CEO, and likely meet major players, like the Director of Technology. These two friends of mine are outstanding people and I admire them, and their accomplishments.

Their latest game was released for the iPhone last week and they have some major clients and networks going on. They did a project for Hasbro with lego-like characters, and the game was published by Zynga. WOW. Talk about heavy hitters. To be a part of the group of 35-40 people who made that game would be outstanding.

Cross your fingers, I may have an amazing job next week!
