Probably 219 lbs again. There has been a lot of eating this last week.

I’ve been offered the position of Producer with the iPhone game company my friend runs, to act as project manager for his next game.

It’s a 6-month contract to start with the intent of hiring me on as a full-time employee should that go well. It comes with benefits that cover my family, thus my future wife, which is really important. I’ll have a place to call home even if I’m not managing a project at the time. It’s with a group of amazingly talented people, a couple of who I am proud to call old friends who I have not seen in a long time until recently. It pays 50k with the intent to bring that into line with industry standards over a few years. I’d also be a part of the employee profit sharing program during a time of stable growth. All together this sounds extremely attractive.

I am super happy!

Who knew I’d ever be able to call myself a Producer for games.
