14 weeks
Copied over from tumblr because I’m too sickish to write a real entry. And yay, 14 weeks!
It’s early, but, for the last week or so I’ve been feeling tiny baby wiggles. At first I wasn’t sure but it keeps happening, in the same spot (which is right where the midwife found the heartbeat), and it’s getting stronger. And now, instead of just once or twice, it will be a series of little bumpbumpbumps over a couple of minutes like baby is doing some gymnastics and going back to sleep. It happens way more in the evening than any other time.
I’ve been having trouble connecting the idea of this pregnancy to an actual baby and this makes it so much more real.That’s my CHILD squirming around in there. And s/he is getting big enough that I can actually feel the squirming! Mind blowing.
I can’t wait for the ultrasound tomorrow.
