  • The first trimester is bringing very little relief. I’m so exhausted! Still sick in the mornings, evenings, and occasionally throughout the day. I don’t believe I’ve thrown up this week, so…there is that.
  • I think I’m going to give my dad and grandparents the big news tonight.
  • I scored a Moby Wrap in great condition for $20 today. Yeah!
  • I got a ton of clothes and receiving blankets for $25 a few days ago. Seriously, I think this kid is almost set in newborn clothes…we have a lot of 3-6 months, and quite a few 6-9 months stuff as well.
  • I had to fire somebody. It’s been very stressful and it’s on my mind a lot this week.
  • Speaking of this week, my coworkers were on vacation so I was bathing all of the dogs in addition to grooming my normal amount…exhausting! I couldn’t do that all the time, it would be way too much for me!
  • Baby names are a very, very difficult name. I’ve had names I’ve liked since I was like 12…but suddenly I don’t like anything! Everything is either too common, too weird, too short, too long…Jonathan and I have barely discussed names together yet. I feel like I’m afraid to say the names I actually really like, because I don’t want them turned down! Obviously some will be and I just need to get over it, but…it’s something I’m taking really personally right now for some reason. I’m favoring girls names ending in -ly or -ley, and a few fairly traditional girls names. Boys names are harder for me right now…for some reason it’s easier to picture a little girl and a woman fitting into a certain name than a little boy or a man…
  • We might be rehoming one of our dogs. It would be really hard, but…he’s needed more attention than we can give him since he was a little puppy. He REALLY needs to be on a ranch herding sheep like he’s supposed to be. I think that’s the only thing that would really get his energy out. He also has some bad habits that he hasn’t been broken of yet (and he’s almost 3) so I doubt we could break him of them in the next 6 months…the biggest one is his jumping. Nothing works with this dog when it comes to jumping, and he hurts me constantly…plus, if I’m carrying ANYTHING, he jumps especially excitedly to see what it is and constantly knocks stuff out of my hands…that would be really scary with a newborn! The other dog is very content with little exercise, he just really likes being with us, and he’s very calm and sweet. I also feel like I would walk him way more if I didn’t have to deal with both dogs…when I just had him, I walked him every single night, sometimes 2-3 times a day, because it was such an easy thing. We haven’t been doing that and I really miss it 🙁
  • I really need to get in shape to push a baby out.

I think that’s about it for now. I’m trying to get my disaster of a house cleaned up a bit.

I think the first trimester is our body’s sick way of getting us used to not ever sleeping again. lol. Moby wraps are awesome but for me took me a bit to learn how to use it. I’d suggest trying out whatever ways you want to before the baby is born so you you aren’t trying learn with a screaming newborn next to you. ha. Our daughter loves ours anyway and it’s not so hard on your back when they areyounger. 🙂
