things to mention:

things with paul were REALLY good, and now they are so-so but nothing is bad there.

my parents are probably moving from michigan down here to florida, where we live.

im taking a trip to michigan with lucy for turkey day. toddler + plane = ??????????

pauls mom is staying with us for 2 weeks at christmas which is both sucky and good at the same time.

i hate juggling in laws and real parents. maybe its just that my inlaws bring out the worst in me.

school is amaze-balls and i’m kicking ass at it. im almost certain to get into the nursing program this summer. spring semseter is just A&P2 and microbiology, then i start the nursing classes in like may.

i started a new job. might have already said that. i work fridays only 9-5, then occasionally some half days mid week. 10 bucks an hour. i like it and i like the people there. its boring at times, and a long tedious day, but one day a week is perfect because i will still enjoy it. i will be there a lot in december though since i dont have much school that month. it will get boring if im there all the time, but im hoping it will be super busy and therefore not boring.

im looking forward to that extra income.

paul is making progress on getting certified with the coast guard and so forth, so he can be a fishing guide and get paid to take people fishing. its the next big thing for him right now and im happy for him.

he is running his 2nd marathon in jan in miami. looking forward to that, but NOT looking forward to his next idea…..an ultra. fuck that! i mean im all about it but, thats a lot of training. what does training mean to me? even less help than i get now. ZERO help or time or attention from paul. he will continue to go to bed at like 9:30 and be gone when I wake up. He is sometimes now, but these marathon training periods are temporary and i look forward to their ENDINGS. If he starts up some new goal right away………no, im going to put my foot down about it cuz im sick of this crap.

ive had probably 3/4 of a bottle of red wine.

i like mumford and sons.

i love my babygirl to the moon and back. she is SO freaking smart now. she understands everything i say to her, though she doesnt say many words. I worry about that sometimes but her comprehension is so high that im sure (and her teachers say) that she will say more words in her own time. She says doggy, momma, dada, daisy (her doll), scotchy (one of the cats), ocasionally chichi (the other cat), tickle (though she doesnt know exactly what it means, she is learning), HI, and thats about it. Most of the things sound like dada (daisy, doggy, dad…its pretty much all the same). She eats everything, which makes me so happy. Tonight for dinner she ate fresh turnip greens with whole wheat pasta, chicken, other mixed veggies from frozen, and some melted swiss on it. she eats everything. for breakfast i made her scrambled eggs with veggies in it, and some cut up pineapple. Love her! Her molars are coming in, along with the rest of her teeth (she has 6 now and has had the same 6 since i can remember) so i hope they all break through soon.
