the hideway i call our own

the cliff.

thats what it’s called. our edge of the earth concealed in the center of a vast city. busy streets are 50 feet away, yet we stand secluded.

and the walk isnt far from my bed. in the depth of the night we creep, cigarette in one hand, the other clasped to his, down the street, across the road, through the stop light, and to the path that leads back. and when you get there, you cant beleive that someone discovered it. its a ledge, overseeing a building, and mass amounts of trees. naturally we sit side by side in the small clearing amongst the trees. we pass the bowl back and forth (he is odd and prefers glass over your classic joint..imma big fan of the J)… as the smoke drifts upward i notice that the clouds are exactly how i want them to be. light grey poofs on black sky. i call them halloween clouds…they are kinda self explanitory.

is it so crazy to be so far away from civilization, and yet in the middle of it all?
