It’s Time for Saying Goodbye
“Somehow I know
We’ll meet again
Not sure quite where
And i don’t know just when
You’re in my heart
So until then
It’s time for saying goodbye”
— From “The Muppets Take Manhattan”
Today was my last day at the pool cause i’m pretty sure i won’t have a chance ot stop by tomrorow π It was really fun and relaxing today too. Everyone was there (cept for Holly cause she’s still in MV, I got a post card from her yesterday though. Wheeeeee) We worked some more on the tape doing interviews and just goofing off.
Hanz got a mullet hair cut. I didn’t think it looked THAT bad but of course Evan and Justin kept runnign around calling him “Mullet-Boy” it was really funny.
Vash came by today too!!! I think Frany was eve more happy to see her than I was π Ben was suppsoed to stop by but he wound up having a Buddhist meeting π We;”re suppsoed to get together tomororw evening though. Even Robert and Caitlin stopped by for a litlite bit. He’s lost a lot of weight since he stoopped drinking all the time and she was weraing heels so they looked pretty good together. NOt quite so mismatched age, size and height wise. Theyonly stayed for a little bit but i am glad Robert was there so i got a chance to say goodbye. Hanz’s friend Todd was also there. He came on our big bowling outing at the end of the summer, one of the few fond memories i have of the awful summer of ’99. It was so cool to see him agian! He looked vaguely familiar but he’s gotten taller, gotten braces and his voice changed. It’s so weird how all the kids are growing up on me!
We stayed til the very end tonight. Annine nad I went for one last dip at 7:45. It was warm (the clock/billboard thingy said 80 degrees) and twilight was just starting (generallya sad thing since it means it’s getting darker earlier, but in this case a good thing since it was so pretty) I had fun splashign aroudn in the water withi carefreee abandon. I had to practially drag myself out π Then I grabbeda quick rinse off shower and got dressed in the cabana. It was really hard sayign goodbye to everyone: Pat, Franny, Pam, Connie, Justin, Hanzy, Zakki, Stephanie (ok that wasn’t hard at all), Evan and espescially Annie. She really is like my little sister now (I’ve been racking up sisters left and right lately hehehee) They’re all like my extended family. I’m really gonna miss them. But, contrary to Franny’s extreme thinking I will be back agian next summer and we’ll all be together again.
I’m almost all packed. I defintley wind up with less stuff to bring each year but even so it’s a lot π I so hate packing π π At least I’m pretty much done though.

“Stack the chairs on the table tops
Hang the sheets from the chandaliers
It slows down but it never stops
Ain’t it sweet after all these years
And these are the last words I have to say
It’s always hard to say goodbye
But now it’s time to put this book away
Ain’t that the story of my life”
