The Power of Positive Thinking

And good karma…

They’re doing this on another site I belong to and I want to put my own wishes out there into the world.

These are the things I -WILL- win by entering contests in 2009:

1. a trip off of this continent, all expenses paid – or unlimited airfare covered at least… that would really help out with travelling to South Africa for our wedding…

2. a sum of money greater than $1000.00 CAD (or an item worth that much which we could sell)

Those are my two main goals for this year.

I am always happy to win ANYTHING though. And I’ve been blessed to win quite a few things over the past few years of contest entering… a $500 gift certificate to WestJet (which we have yet to use), an authentic basketball jersey and sneakers, blinds for our old apartment, books, movies, tickets to see comedians…

I would absolutely LOVE to win us a trip to the 2010 Olympics. I’ve always wanted desperately to go to the Olympics. I didn’t make it to China in 2008 and we won’t be able to afford Vancouver in 2010 on our own… with the rising prices of such events I don’t think it will be likely we’ll make it to one ever… but I would LOVE to.

I’d also be THRILLED to win a second car. We would no doubt sell it and put the money towards wedding, house and debt. Keeping a second car on the road at this point wouldn’t be feasible…

So there you have it world!!! Let’s see what we can do!!!

PS. -IF- anyone is interested in being on my contest list, just let me know. Some contests I get extra entries for just sending along to friends, others I only get extra entries if the people I’ve sent to also enter. For this reason, I have have a list of people to whom I email these contests. That way they can enter to and hopefully get lucky!!
