Toxicity
I see you standing there the strong man I admire.
Talking to me about a pain you feel, a pain burning hotter than fire.
You the strongest person I know, Feirce and proud brought to the knee by a mother’s betrayal.
You trusted her to take you to the hospital, a routine investigation of an illness you are suffering with to be told she would only take you 2 hours early as your brother had a meeting with a job network.
I suggested he be taken 30 minutes early, he could job search while there and she could still take you on time.
I was yelled at for being insensitive for being selfish, then I reminded you it is us who cooks her meals, mends her car, takes her to her appointments, cleans her home it is us who does for her and us that gets used.
I see you standing there infront of me crying now as you feel obligated to do for her but how far will the obligation go? Loose your family over the obligation to your mother?
An answer to a question you will need to soon know.
