Health Vision
(this is called a “health vision” although I have added some financial goals as well…this is written as me a year from now.)
I am a 32 year old mom of 6, happily married to my husband of 15 years. I live in Denver and I am happy and at peace with my job as a provider specialist for the CCCAP program. I have been in my position almost 5 years and I have 6 vacation days saved up as well as 6 sick days. I meditate for 10 minutes every day and keep a gratitude journal of three positive things from every day.
I meet with my dietician/nutritionist monthly and have since my class “the New You” ended. I drink 100 ounces of water per day, and I complete 10,000 steps 6 days out of the week. I have completed a couch to 5k and I am enrolled in my first 5k. I have also spent the entire year preparing to peak a 14er in early summer.
I have cut my fast food and soda intake to one time per week. My family eats dinner at the table together every night, and I do not consume more than one carb serving per meal. My meals mirror the “healthy plate”. My family does one physical activity a week, whether it is hiking, playing at the park, going somewhere to walk indoors.
Since my New You class I have dropped 75 pounds and I now weigh 130. I have worked really hard to love myself again and I do not say anything to myself I wouldn’t say to my best friend. I wake up early every day to either work out at the gym or at home.
I have no credit card or installment loan debt remaining and I have a deposit put on a vacation with my husband.
