Mother’s Day

Today was kind of like any other day, I got up and started cleaning my house and working on laundry. I spent my whole with my two daughters as well. My husband had to work a double today so I didn’t get to see him until later in the day.

When he got home today he had two bags filled with my favorite candies along with art stuff because he knows I like to color and paint. It really is the simple things in life that seem to matter the most. The gifts he bought were sweet but the best part of today was when he called our daughter to remind her it was Mother’s Day and when he called me just to see how my day was going and to make sure I knew he was thinking of me.

He has always been that way and I am so grateful for him and all he does for my self and our family.

I know that Mother’s Day is about all the moms out there and to celebrate them, but I have to give a huge shout out to my husband because of him I get to be the hands on mom that I wanted to be. He’s part of the reason I get to celebrate Mother’s Day along with our three amazing children.

I’ll be honest being a mom is not an easy job and sometimes it takes everything out of you, but it was of the most rewarding things out there. I didn’t know growing up if I wanted children or not. After getting back together with my husband and becoming a step mom, having my own children was a major thing.

I feel like I’ve been extremely blessed when it comes to my little family.
