Question: when you were a kid, what career did you think you wanted when you grew up?
[BellaNox]

My aspirations as a kid, starting at about age 3, were the following:

1) Fireman
2) Playboy photographer
3) Garbageman

Fireman and garbageman because they got to stand and ride on the back of trucks. This was awesomely cool.
Playboy photographer was eventually ruled out because, well you know, cooties.
Fireman won out because I couldn’t ever spot a garbage truck that was red.

Why is it that I feel as if we’ve met… as in real life.
And. If you could go anywhere, do anything, be anything…
what would you do and where would you go?
[VeronicaCorningstone]

Well, it’s because we have. I’ve seen you in your dreams, but you
were busy and didn’t recognize me; but that’s ok, I understood.
By the way, if the Hanson brothers, a vat of whipped cream, 140
warm towels, and Harrison Ford screaming “I can do better!” in the
background is the best you can do, then I have some suggestions.
My fee is reasonable, and you get an unprecedented 60% off.

Go anywhere, be anything? Astronaut. No restrictions; any price.

What is your biggest regret?

Name one thing you look forward to this week.
[Tomorrow’s Girl]

Biggest regret — Politely giving up on the one girl I wanted who told me “no.” She was the first
love of my life (though not my first crush), and you never, ever love that way again.
As it turns out, from a conversation with her years later, it was her regret too.

If there were two people that you could lock in a room for 24 hours with you, who would they be and why? What would you do with said people?

Setting aside (as too obvious) the normal male fantasies this questions engenders,
I’d choose a couple of particularly obnoxious kids that made my life miserable in
high school. The purpose would be to beat the ever loving shit out of them, and I
would then proceed to do so, knowing the world would be a better place for it.

Is readership the only reason you write here?
[Olivia Baker]

A legitimate question, and I’ll answer it with a slight, but significant rephrase:

Readership and feedback were the main reason I started writing here.
I’ve never been a journal/diary person. I write creatively, but doing
it only for myself never really appealed. Those that provided feedback,
and my participation in it’s reciprocity were what kept me going.

In the vernacular, I write more for others to read than I do for myself.
