Sadly, I’m going through a low spot in OD too. Few notes, few entries. But. . .it’ll pick up. However, if you choose to leave, rest assured you will be missed. 🙂

I am a horrid noter. Sorry

If you don’t want to keep on writing, then don’t write. . .but don’t let the notes be your only reason for staying here. I don’t have nearly the amount of readers I had a few years ago, but I still write just because. . .you know, it’s nice to get it out there. Just do what you want to do.

I think if you want to stay, stay. I’d love it if you wrote more, talked about your yummy menus, spread your unique wisdom and were just YOU. but indeed, you have disappeared, and this place supports the principle that “you get what you give”… so if you give little, oftentimes you get little back. I imagine if you put more into it, you’d see more people warm back up. It’s a fickle place. Personally, I’d be sad. I always get excited to see what random tidbit you’ll share. In the end, it’s up to you. And while you’d be missed by some of us I’m sure, if this place isn’t what you want it to be, then you must do what is best. That’s my 2.4 cents. oh yeah, 2.4 (and wouldn’t you miss some of US IF YOU LEFT?!!!!!)

also, it’s summer. notes tend to decline during summer and around holidays…. come september thru mid november, it’ll be hoppin round these parts.

If you want to stay, you should. I try hard not to pay too much attention to how many notes/attention I receive here. I do know that it seems to go up and down pretty steadily, especially in the summer. I’ve been in and out of here enough, and obviously I’m not big on noting. I would miss seeing your name in bold though.

^^^ Chaosbride said what I was thinking. This is my take too – you often give so little of yourself here. I share quite a bit… and while it may not be fair to want/expect it back, this just isn’t an environment where you can easily have and maintain “unconditional” friendship. You know? I’ve also been here for a long time… close to 6 years… and this place is important to me. Maintaining my Faves is important to me and so I push through even when I’m feeling like I’m ready to delete my diary and move on with my life. The urge always passes. That said, I usually do read you. I rarely comment because a lot of the time I can’t relate – on things like TV shows or World of Warcraft (I barely even know what it is…) or even Star Wars. And I skip anyone’s entry if it’s a video. So, yeah. I guess I was trying to say I also wish you’d share a little more. I like when you write about your life and I like seeing your poetry. I wouldn’t have added you otherwise. But that’s how this place is… you disappear and so does your readership. Mine goes up and down too.

I read you but am a horrible noter. 🙁 I’d be sad if you left because that’d make 2 of my faves who have left in the span of a month.

Write for yourself – we enjoy it but heck, the only reason I get anything down here is so I have memories for when I am old and senile. 🙂

From an avid reader and horrible noter – No! Don’t stop!

I read but barely note. Nothing to say, usually. It’s hard to relate to you when I don’t know you. The people I get most involved with and note most often are the ones who share their lives with me as I do them. But. It’s been said.

You are pretty vague about the details of your life. 🙂 I miss your poetry and wisdom, but that’s not why I don’t note much. I’m just pretty bored with OD all around and rarely note anyone. I would’ve deleted my diary by now, but I do have some faves that I can’t walk away from. I’d probably note more often if you fed my ego as often as you used to. 🙂

Oh, and I think people just aren’t as active with OD as they used to be. It’s been years for me too and my readership has declined by about 75%, favorites and random noters.

Ack, ack, ack! I have had some TERRIBLE, CRAPPY problems with OD. I’m lucky I managed to pop an entry or two to let people know I was alive this last couple of weeks, but notes… just about nada. I like you! You’ve been around for as long as I can remember during my 4 years here. I would miss you.
