First Martrini’s (i.e. on no,*what* time is it?!?!
Good m9orning ‘!
Last bnight, I made martini’s foir the first timre.
I have a messed up leyboard that I can usually control, but today it takes more control thAn usual.
Poper martinini, properler made. —
Martini, dirty, straight up :
0. GOOD vodka. Not McCormick’s (which I use to make scre2wdrivers), but the good stuff. Ciroc. It is, IMHO, equal or better than Stolly’s or Grey Goose.
1. Martini glass. Imperative. Not sure why, it just is.
2. Martini and Rossi vermouth. Best vermouth in the known universe. Use it
3, Olive juice. Just olive juice mix from the liquor store. You can use the juice from the olive jar, but that will run short short eventually.
4. Shaken not stirred. No relation, but still important.
So. The following is kick ass …..
~ 90% vodka
~ 7% olive juice
~ dash of vermouth
~ shaken, no5t srirred
~ add olive
….and made me wake up on the sofa with a half a glass left (granted, I had three…) at oh 9 thirty this morning….
Def8initly making those aga9in. Woo HOO!!
Edit: Just to prove how outandingly good these are, I amnoot editting this entry. Go Braves! They won last night, and play at 13:35 today

I tried making martinis with olive juice from the jar, and it turned out I got not-great olives and all the martinis tasted bad. I wish I had known about the mix from the liquor store! What in the world is wrong with your keyboard?

You sir, need a new keyboard O.o (still working on that jingle, I assure you!)

hahahaha – nice! I never knew they sold olive juice separately, we always just use the stuff from the jar (we eat a lot of olives anyway.) Something interesting – apparently is is horrendous luck to put olives in a martini in even numbers, you should always do 1 or 3!
