from one end to the other

i want to sketch the night in color, because it’s truly such a colorful world once the day retreats to night.

what a wonderous sight, flesh glows, fabrics shimmer, the scene is shining bright like a disco mirror ball.

one heart alone can’t take it all in, the love, the hope, the lies, the sin… one man doesn’t know where to begin.

but beyond the orange hued frenzy this nocturnal waking throng is hardly imaginable.

moon beams and star light throw their many splendid hue upon rock and tree, you and me…

here a pulse can be felt… get so close to the ground that you can almost get the sensation that we really are flying,

flying about the night’s abyss at a thousand miles an hour. almost.
