A Quick Hello

Hi all! Just a short update. I received two bits of good news today. After more that 2 years of torture with the infamous co-worker making my work life a daily misery, they announced today that she is moving to another part of the bank. In a different building and everything.  😀  When I first heard the news I thought it was a joke. But when it was confirmed it was like a ton weight was lifted from my shoulders. Talk about a huge relief.  I was giddy with excitement for the rest of the day, let me tell you.

The other good thing was that I won the Quarter Performance Award out of about 10 nominees. It’s a big honour at work. They give me a certificate and 1000 points which can be used towards getting a prize from our award catalogue (everthing from jewellry, to various electronics). It also puts me into the running for winning an all expense paid Carribean cruise next January. They’ll pick the winners in the beginning of November, at our fiscal year end.  I’ll keep you updated.

I’ve got to go for now. I’ll try to come back soon to write more.
