You can’t go home again
You can’t go home again – Thomas Wolf
As much as I try to be happy that I’m back on the east coast, I know in my heart that I can’t go home, and that kills me. I didn’t do anything wrong, but that doesn’t matter. I tarnished the name of someone too close to the neighborhood. Until he chooses to leave I can’t go back without feeling unwelcome and afraid.
It’s not home if you don’t feel welcome there. And it’s really screwed up that he gets to stay.

Wut? And anyway, move to NC. I wanna. I miss it. Well, the coast. Not so much the rest of it.
