A Penny For Your Thoughts~~~

It is a crisp, clear, sunny day here in Arizona, and while I enjoy spending a portion of my time lost in delicious daydreams  ,  I also am interested in current events and items of interest that affect all of us.

Declining economic conditions have gravely affected quality of life standards for many in the United States and numerous other countries. Record-high workforce reductions and home foreclosures have resulted in families desperately struggling to stay afloat financially. Many have been forced to go on already-strained government assistance programs. In order to make ends meet, some families have reportedly cut back on basic living essentials such as seeking medical help when needed or paying for childcare services. One way or another, we are all directly affected by today’s economic challenges. Recently a local radio station asked a hypothetical question of its listeners.
 
“Would you be willing to give up a portion of your pay if it would save a co-worker(s) job?”
