- Feel the feelings
- Learn to set boundaries
- Ask for what you want
- Trust your own perceptions and stop living through the eyes of others.
- See yourself as a loveable capable person. You are not what they said you were.
- Come to understand those who abused you probably lived through abuse themselves.
- Get professional help, read books, go to support groups.
