shame shame

Ever wonder where certain things come from.  I thought of this the other day while talking to Jen.  Remember in grade one when youd find a guy and a girl playing together on the playground?  School might be different now from when i was in it, but when i was in grade one, you usually played with members of your own gender.  Sounds kinda gay, but thats just how it was.  Anyways, whenever you found two genders mixing company, you immediatly would start rubbing your two fingers together like you were trying to start a fire and yell out "shame shame."

Now obviously i understand the "shame" part.  It indicates that not only are you hanging out with the opposite gender instead of your own, but you also must be up to no good.  Shameful conduct.  But……what does the finger rubbing thing mean, and where do we even learn that from? Who started doing that, why do all little kids know it?  Ive never seen it done on tv, never seen it on the internet, never seen it anywhere except for the schoolyard at elementary school.  If anyone has any ideas on where this caveman finger rub thing came from, let me know.  Its gotta be some sort of schoolyard thing that you learn, and then are programmed to forget how you learned it once you hit middle school.

Is there some kind of sexual hidden meaning to it?  Weird.

As far as other things are going, they took a pretty big dive the other week.  Things are on the up hill again, but it will no doubt take a bit longer to reach the plateau i was at formerly.  Hope all are doing well.
