Yawn..stretch…grin

..that is about the extent of my days.

And so…we are here and together in this sweet town. After months of my high speed days, it was difficult for me to fall into relaxation. I struggled with a strange sense of anxiety. I kept feeling like I had to DO something, MAKE something, CALL someone…but no.

No, I didn’t.

I didn’t have to DO anything. Here we could talk till 3am. Sleep in. Play cards. I could actually read a book! We didn’t rush to do anything more than race for the home-made fudge in the fridge after dinner.

Since that first week, I am glad to report there has been no more of that anxiety nonsense. I have settled into sheer indulgence. My parent’s house has been a revolving delight of sisters, nieces & nephews, sister-in-law, friends of the family, cousins, and aunts—all who stay for a bit and leave again, or stay for longer periods of time. More loved ones to come and go in the next week as my brother and my niece, Amber, arrive tonight.

All is loving and lovely. Much delicious nothingness. Boring to report about our lazy days and yet to be truthful, it is impossible to report.

I just have no words to describe the delirious happiness…

A nice chunk of R & R is just what you needed, after what must’ve felt like you were the dramatic equivalent of a traffic cop in the middle of Times Square! Take care~
