Product testing {Influenster & Smiley360}

In the past few days I’ve gotten a couple packages to test some products for free.

The first package was from http://www.influenster.com/.  This is my first time with them, I signed awhile ago and actually forgot about it because the invite took awhile to get accepted. Then I got an email that I had a box I could try to qualify for and this is the first box I was accepted for. The "Holiday Voxbox 2012"  

Here is what was in it:

• Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal : have to admit I made & ate this right away!! It was very yummy, super easy to make {just adding water & microwaving} and had just the right amount of real fruit.  I’ll be buying more of these! So easy, even the kids can whip them up for themselves in the morning.
• EBOOST Dietary Supplement poweder packet, Natural Energy from green tea extract in Acai Pomegranate flavor.
  {there is a warning on the back to consult a physician if you’re pregnant, nursing or thinking of becoming pregnant… so I’ve not tried this. I might see if Jason wants to sample it}  I have drank EBOOST Vitamin C before, but I don’t remember enjoying the tast much 🙁
• NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine.  Color: Nude York City, which is great because it’s a color I would of picked out for myself, I only wear nude/light lipgloss.  I just tried it and like the feel of it on my lips, and it tastes like coconut/cotton candy. Will put this in my purse and use it as my go-to lipgloss for awhile!
• Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask, Aloe Vera & Willow, Kendall was just asking me if we had any masks a few days ago, I think I’ll do this with her.
• Kiss Nail Dress nail stickers. In "Princess" lepoard print.  I *might* try these tonight if I’m feeling up to it. At least one nail on each hand, and will also share with Kendall as well :
• Goody QuickStyle Brush. This has microfiber bristles mixed in with regular to help your hair dry faster as you style it.  I used this today. I normally don’t really use a brush while drying my hair, I comb it out & let it air dry a bit, then blow it dry upside down or in all directions for lots of volume & lift, then I brush through it with a soft bristle brush & straighten.  But when I was styling other peoples hair I’d use a brush often, a vented brush & round brush.  I did try this on towel dried hair for a while.  I think it might of made a small difference in the dry time, but nothing major & I’m just not a fan of using a brush on my hair while wet.  But it’s kinda nifty — I think I’ll try it on Kendall the next time she lets me dry her hair & I’ll get a better feel for the technology.
• A coupon code for $25 off the first purchase at SoleSociety.com – honestly doubt if I’ll even use this. It expires Jan 31.  I did look through their website and saw they were having a buy one, get one sale – not sure how long that lasts & also I think shipping was free and most shoes were in the $40-80 range. I just didn’t see any that I’d want to buy. They do have a lot of cute heels, I just do not wear heels.  If anyone is interested in using the code let me know!

My second product test is from Smiley360.com & BiC
They sent me:

 

They sent me two 4-color pens. One to keep & use and one to pass on to a friend {probably will see if my mom or sister wants it when they visit this week}  I seem to get a lot of the missons posted on Smiley360 – They always send nice, full size, quality things the last mission on I got 36 BiC markers!    I didn’t even know they still made these pens, I remember using them when I was a kid, and I loved it then. I’ve already tested mine out with my shopping list. 🙂  They must be trying to bring these back into popularity because I remember looking for a pen like this a couple years ago when I went to school for note taking and couldn’t find one.  When I opened the package Jason even said "damn, those are old-school" lol.     They seem to be pretty much EXACTLY the same as I remember them to be, even the simple look kinda looks retro now.
