… sorry I left that last entry kinda hanging, Evan started TALKING TO ME, really talking to me… he wanted to tell me something serious & he rarely EVER wanst to TALK to me so I had to turn off the computer and listen.  I’m thinking maybe Evan has alittle bit of the seasonal affective disorder I get 🙁  He told me lately he’s been feeling really sad or really angry and he doesn’t know why.   We had a long talk, I’m gonna try to get us out of the house more and find something "extra cirricular" that he might like to do.  I just want my baby happy.

—– When I left off yesterday I mentioned Kendall feeling sick, when I brought her home she napped a little.  Didn’t eat all day.  I had to go over to the salon for the "Holiday Hop" (hence, yesterday’s title)  Which was a town wide thing… all the businesses (mainly on main street) had open houses and refreshments, and giveaways..  We were giving free eyebrow waxing and free bling strands.  I was doing the bling strands and was pretty busy.   My kids came over at one point after Kendall woke up and stayed for a few minutes, but Kendall still wasn’t feeling well and wanted to go lay back down 🙁  She was just so queasy all day… yet never had a fever or never threw up…  it was odd.  And this morning she woke up fine!

Today I was home until around 1 I got a call to see if I could come in for a haircut.  I was there within minutes.  Cut one of the ladies that works at the grocery store.  Then went and got the kids from school, brought Evan back to the salon with him & cut his hair… MARK THIS DOWN ON THE RECORD BOOKS : Evan ASKED for a haircut!!  His hair was pretty shaggy & usually I have to fight with him to just trim it, but he wanted it pretty sure with just enough uptop to spike 🙂  I wonder if he got any infulence at school?  All I know is he looks so cute!!!  (I’ll snap a picture when he gets out of the shower)

At 4pm tonight I had a highlight on my books, I was hoping it would just be a partial and would take me maybe an hour and I’d be home by 5:30.  No.  This woman had SUPER LONG hair, bleach blonde with 2 -3  inches or level 5 outgrowth.  I was kinda nervous  and was considering using color to lift, but Julie called me and suggested just to use the lightener. It took me proabably 1.5 hours to just foil her WHOLE HEAD and I was there by myself.  OMG  I was pretty nervous, just praying that it would turn out well.  I was worried that I didn’t weave enough  hair, or take small enought partings, or processs it long enough…. but ya know what… It turned out well & my client said she liked it & she tipped me $10.  She was there for 3 hours, but had a ton of hair.  It seems my average speed for girls with super long hair who need a color and style is 3 hours.  I hope I get faster!

Did I mention my family is coming to visit for Thanksgiving???? I’m so excited!!!!
