We can be friends

Max and his daughter Sara have been texting me more now. Sara will usually send me a message when she gets home from school and Max will text me later in the evening after Sara is asleep.

Sara text me today and told me she has a bf now, but Max doesn’t know. lol. She asked me not to tell either. Max would be so upset.
Tonight Max text me asking me to send him a pic of me in my costume. I told him I’m not dressing up. I was supposed to, but I woke up feeling so sick so I’m home. I’m so bored. Anyway, I talked to Max for a bit about Halloween and how his day was. He sent pics of the dogs dressed up in their costumes. I was cracking up.

I’m so glad we’re friends again. I need him in my life and I think he needs me too.

I truly love him and I want him to be happy – even if it’s not with me.
