Louise Hay

I am currently living with my mom while I wait for my renters to move out of my house.

My renters happen to be my ex’s parents. Their lease is up in Feb/Mar of next year. I don’t have the heart to kick them out sooner, even though I feel like telling my ex to let them stay with him now that he’s alone.

But I digress.

My mom has every channel on direct tv, including OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network). I happened to catch an interview she did with Louise Hay. She’s a self-help author. She talks about using affirmations to create good energy in one’s life. One of the affirmations she uses is, "The world is conspiring in my favor." I thought it was cute to imagine the world, every bit of it, rooting for me.

So I figured what the heck… I’ll start using it.

THE WORLD IS CONSPIRING IN MY FAVOR!

I gotta admit… I drove to work with a slight smile.

I like that, too!!! 🙂 It’s totally awesome. And it’s great that with that, it gave you a smile. That’s good that you can find the small in life to smile about. 🙂 And if it means something or not, at least I smile at the fact that despite what the ex has done to you, because of your soft heart, you made the sacrifice to move back with your mom. .. Not many people would have done with you did, and I think it’s really wonderful that your bigger than your ex to do that. I would have thought that maybe his parents wouldn’t feel comfortable or whatever, but people these days.. (but that’s a whole another entry, right?) RYN: I love Charlotte a lot. She’s hilarious. And I love how romantic, like you said, she is. I always envision myself marrying someone like Charlotte, but it is funny how life turns out to be. Of course, I watched the show not just for Kristen Davis, but it was something my mom and I did when it came on regularly on TBS) So, I thought my favorite phase today was what the quote from Louise Hay’s interview.. but you simply topped it by saying about how being a romantic idealist is ..

.. an aliment!! I could not agree with you more. This is the best sentence that I have heard in a long, long time. I don’t know what you do for a living, but you are definitely too good with your words, Carrie. (Oh wait, you are Carrie. So, duuuuuuuuuuuhhh.. you write this world famous sex column and books about sex and love and romantic and finding the right guy!!)

… lol, I didn’t think you would have read any of my diary past an entry or two. If you find yourself at night thinking of your ex and you can’t fall asleep, my diary is a such fire bet to get you to sleep. Better than Ambien, Lunesta or any of those sleeping pills. And the funny thing is that I have problems sleeping at night, and I could get them if I wanted to but I rather not sleep than take those pills. I feel really strongly about it). RYN: I wasn’t kidding you about that. My girl bestie, Adriana, I got her to start reading my diary. I think she read a couple of entries when she was bored at work. She was like you write way too much but I think it tired her out, and all. So, if it tired out my best friend, then it sure to tire the rest of the people. How I have managed all of these years is beyond on me..

.. omg, you are a corporate fancy girl. Whoa. Can I ask what bank are you working for? You should post with time and all, some of your work. Definitely it’d be good to read and help you keep your mind of things with your recent ex. Can I tell you something? Reading your notes = keeps me always laughing and smiling. I think we are going to get along just great here. 🙂
