Moving Along
I would LOVE the be past the sickness stage of pregnancy. In all honesty I do not enjoy being pregnant. Of course I missed it when I wasn’t pregnant anymore but I think it’s because you go almost an entire year feeling this certain way. I 100% remember all of the things I did not and did enjoy so I’m not in total denial or anything. I’m so glad I don’t puke a lot when pregnant. I think the last time I was threw up 4 times, this time I have 2 times. I do on the other hand feel very nauseated almost every day all day which isn’t fun either. I will enjoy the second trimester I’m sure, I did the last time around. I just really don’t like 90% of what comes along with being pregnant. I also have bad hips/ribs that pop out of place when I am not pregnant and cause me pain so it’s pretty fun to deal with pregnant. But this is what we do so we can have more crazy children. I also wonder how I will feel abut having a small baby again. i didn’t necessarily like having a little baby. Of course she was cute and small and this and that but I find small babies to be boring and tiring. I know it sounds bad but it’s true. I might feel differently this time since I have my 2 year old to amuse me.
It is almost noon and i’m trying to think of something to eat that sounds appealing. So far I have thought of nothing at all and ate the most bland cereal ever to try to calm my stomach.
I’m getting anxious for my first midwife appointment. I want to hear the heart beat and meet the midwife!

Congrats on your pregnancy! I have a son who is 16 months and am trying again as well. I’m on my 3rd month trying and not sure if it will happen right away since he still nurses twice a day. I don’t think pregnancy is the most fun in the world either but you do what you gotta do, right? I was really sick with my son so I know how you feel. Hope the sickness goes away soon. Mine lasted 12 weeks 🙁
