Jus a brief!

Just wanted to say that I’ve started writing again. I’m working a piece of short(ish) fiction that’s been rumbling in my head since last month when Chelsea and I sat in her backyard and watched a particularly odd thunderstorm develop. I’ve been under a rock when it comes to writing actual material, so I took a different approach. Rather than do the informal thing I usually do and just sit down and start, I let it stew for a while. I thought of the whole thing, (a little vaguely, but all the way through, nonetheless.) and went out and got a notebook specifically for writing, a couple of pens and pencils…You know, stuff to put me in the writing mood. And I just got started the other night.

I’m about 4 pages into it, and although the intro was terrible, I think I’m starting to find that groove that’s going to take me all the way through. It’s funny to note that I scared myself a bit the other night. It’s going to be a fine story, I hope. If you guys are interested, I’ll post it here (wow, omg, haven’t done that in AGES.)
