hmmm what the?

So what is the big deal about women and marriage? it’s like this “i’m only complete if I get married”…
what’s the point in being in a relationship if you’re not going to get married?
It just seems like such stupid questions to me.
Why would anyone base their sense of self worth on whether or not they are married anyway? IT seems a little “peer-pressure” like behaviour…. hmmmmm
I’m pretty lucky that my girlfriend doesn’t pressure me into getting married. But I can tell it’s what she wants. She’ll never say anything about it but she definitely wants me to propose before Christmas.

I’m still having trouble figuring out what the hell the point is to marriage! Why do people bother when so few marriages actually last anyway. Why can’t girls just be happy with the guy they are with… trust and love them as I do her? IT’s not like I”m looking for any sort of upgrade! I’m perfectly happy with her and I’m not intending on pursuing anyone else.

Other girls have come by my way that have perhaps been better matches…but I”m really past that part in my life. I quite enjoy working on my relationship now and I don’t want to start a new one.

So why bother getting married? I don’t know… anyone have any good reasons?
