Problem Report Problem

Hello everybody,

Some members have reported a problem when trying to use our contact form – after hitting Send, they have sometimes been seeing an error message instead of the intended message saying that their report has been sent. The resulting feeling of being in an Escher-esque spiral of not being able to report a problem with the problem reporting form because there is a problem using the problem reporting form when trying to report a problem can give a person a headache, to say the least.

In any case, I’ve fixed the problem – so you can ignore what is above. Just know that the contact form is working correctly now.

Added somewhat later:

I also found that the “find a diary” box was not working for members who had their diaries set to view OD Plus diaries only – due to some changes I made yesterday (fixing one thing, breaking another). This has been resolved, so you should be able to find each other now.

me again. same color boxes and ads are now coming up on the front page of od+……….still futzing around when i sign in and have to either refresh or hit the back button to break the stalling and stuttering

I sure do hope that the PRIVATE note thing does not break. Maybe I should start sending emails instead. This could really wreck some friendships…couldn’t it. Don’t EVEN want to think about it. 🙂 Have a great day…you are such a good diarymaster. 😉

Dear DiaryMaster — I am hoping that you check these notes. There is a diary on this site called COUNTDOWN it is written by a 16 year old girl who says she is counting down to her suicide, I don’t think it is real or fake — but if it is real, then perhaps there is a way you can contact someone …

I’ve sent in help requests on this but haven’t heard back. Is there any way to get rid of the Second Thought Virus TIF that gets downloaded instantly, and secondly, is there any way to reinstate notes in the list after an entry has been changed from private to public?

This has nothing to do with what’s above. But somebody hacked into another one of my diaries, just for your reference it is ~Hogwarts~ and i don’t know what to do. i really liked it and i have a lot of students on it. what can i do? Plese note me back!!!!! MM:’)

I was having a problem with enter spaces. Every time I try to enter between paragraphs it won’t work. Why is this?

I just wanted to let you know that the “report a problem” thing isnt fixed. I just tried to report that when you try to search diaries using the geographical feature you get an error message no matter where you try to search at, and also when you try to search authors with one word in their name such as “princess” when you try to move to the pages of results after the first one it is just a blank

problem is not fixed.. I tried sending one and it gave me an error..

ok before my pc crashed in dec. I had this thing were I could update my diary from this program instead of on the website. do you still have that? where can I find it?

You’ve probably gotten about a million notes on this, but the “geographic index” in the search area isn’t working…

pop-up ads have really becaome in issue. every time i flip a page on the OD, my computer almost crashes. anywhere else on the net its fine. its just on the OD. just wanted to let you know.
