Make a Suggestion

Many of our members have asked for a way to make suggestions or ask for non-technical information without using the “Report a Problem” screen in OD.

Since I’d like to think that all of our communications don’t have to be about problems, and because I love to get suggestions (some of my best ideas aren’t really mine), this seemed like a good idea.

So, I’ve added another selection under the Help menu – called “Information/Suggestion”. Okay, thinking up interesting menu titles is almost as hard as thinking up interesting entry titles. In any case, click that to get a screen where you can enter a suggestion, information request, or anything else you want us to know that is neither a technical problem or a Rules violation.

What about blocking notes from “favorites only” diaries?

I have a suggestion. I think it would be pretty easy, but I’m not sure. On the privacy settings page where you can check each entry off to private or change what chapter they are in, I’d like a check all private button. I have many many entries and I hate having to click each private, then go to the next page of 25 entries and check each one too. I’d love a check all private button on that page.

I was wondering, weather there was a way where you can have a public dairy, but allow certain people to read your private entries, that you dont want the public to see

Darnit, I just left a suggestion on the link and got a “this page cannot be displayed” message, so I don’t know if you got it or not. Suggestion #1: Fix that! 😛 My question was: Is there a way to upgrade an FODer or renew someone else’s subscription without their password? I’d like to surprise a friend with an upgrade, but if I ask for his PW he’ll get suspicious. Could this be added somehow?

hi, this mite not really concern u but i was wondering whether or not ud know how to fix it. ive just installed the latest version of internet explorer and now i cant see the toolbar that has the notes, favorites and diary options on top of the screen. has anyone else had this problem or would u know what to do about it?

Just an FYI- I’ve got a stalker who’s been making FOD after FOD in order to note me after I’ve blocked them. I can handle the notes and I’m about to go back to OD only, but I thought you might want to know they’re wasting your server space with all these diaries. Kinda abusing the system, aren’t they?

Mr. DiaryMaster, I was curious as to know if you are still deleting inactive diaries. I have stumbled across a fair few that have been idle for quite sometime. So I was wondering if it was an automatic thing or you do it manually?? I thought I read a while back that it was done automatically but I’m not sure anymore.

How about “Ideas & Info”. Just seems shorter.. 🙂
