Favorites Bolding Revisited

Hello everybody,

Many of you noticed that there was one thing wrong with the changes we made the other day to the favorites bolding routine. The problem was that if a diarist wrote an entry, saved it as private (for checking), and then went back and made the entry public, it would not show up in the favorites as an update.

This was because we had changed so that private updates didn’t show up in the favorites.

Well, now we’ve changed it to work both ways – a private entry being saved will not show up as an update in favorites, but if the diarist changes a private entry to a public entry, it will show up.

We’ve also changed the entry count in the favorites screen, so that it only shows the count of public entries in a diary, not including any private entries. Congratulations to Blather – for being the only diarist to catch us with our pants down (wait a second…) while making that change, and e-mailing us when he saw a very temporary mistake we made. Good eyes!
