It’s Wednesday night, at least for about another 45 minutes. I got off work a lil late, came home and crashed for about an hour, till now. In that time my burn already scabbed since i took the band-aid off immediatly after I got home. It’s gross. Oh yea, story of my burn… so… i was making a casserole with eggplant in it, and eggplant tastes icky if you don’t broil it first to make it lose it’s bitterness so I had done that and pulled the dish out and set it on the stove so I could pour the rest of the ingredients in and mix it up. I reached up to the top cabinant above the stove for teh olive oil and when stretching hit my tummy against the bowl. Since your tummy has less pain receptors then other places, it took me more mili-seconds to react, so by the time I did, the skin was instantly seared and white and dead when I pulled away. By that night it was pink, and after my shower this morning it was brown/yellowish. It’s icky, 4-5 inches long and over a centimeter across. Ick. I bought special bandaids for it last night at Walmart though even though they only cover half so I have to wear two at a time so I can wear pants, heh.
Work wasn’t all that great today. We only made 500ish. That’s half of what we normally do, at least. We had a ton of work, the store manager had a ‘hair up her butt’ as she puts it when talking about other people. It sucked, so much work to do. Oh well, made maybe 20 bucks, so all’s well I guess. I’m freezin… it’s snowin out right now, but I’ve only been cold since i changed into my pjs, even though they’re warm pjs, sigh..
Tomorrow I don’t have work or school. Gaby and I were supposed to go to the flea market today but when I called she was still in bed and therefore didn’t answer, and when i checked the weather it was supposed to be shitty. So Katie and I did some shopping instead and had Chipotle and I went to work. I really like days when i don’t have work, OR school, except that usually they’re followed by days when I have both. Anyhoo, it’s just nice. I’m excited. If I didn’t have so much to do I’d want to just lay around being lazy. Oh well… I gotta get stuff done sometime.. Anyway, I’ll re-do this tomorrow I spose, now I’m headed to bed, sweet dreams everyone..
