Hello, My Name Is…

In the midst of all my angst, it’s occurred to me that anyone reading this diary doesn’t really know much about me, not that I’m so self-important that I think I have any regular readers. But, in the case that I might, or in the case that you’re finding my blog and doing a catch-up of all the issues I love to obsess about, I’ve decided to type a short entry "properly" introducing myself.

My name is Sarah, but I go by a bunch of different names…that sounds a bit ominous, but it’s not, really, I’ve just picked up a lot of nicknames in the past seven years. Some people call me Scribble, Shion, Hyper, Perky, Chi, Cigar…and those are without the derivatives. I’d prefer you guys call me by one of my many nicknames, but Sarah is okay, too.

I am 16 years old. I was born in Indiana, the state most well-known for corn and the Indy 500. I spend copious amounts of time on the computer, or, more specifically recently, on Tumblr. I love to write and roleplay, and I pride myself on my writing ability. I enjoy coding and making graphics when I’m bored, though I’m not very good at that. My favorite shows include (but are not limited to), See Dad Run, The Carrie Diaries, Awkward., Doogie Howser M.D., and Gossip Girl. I run about eleven blogs, not counting all of my RP blogs. If you throw in my RP blogs, that’s probably about twenty blogs. And that’s not counting the ones that I’ve abandoned and deactivated.

I’m a sophomore, and I’m flunking out, but this isn’t to go on about my problems, so I’ll just leave that topic be.

I have a few friends, but only a few I talk to regularly. I talk to Halie the most, though Sabrina is up there. Faustine is my (real life) friend, but I don’t talk to her much because she’s doing online schooling. I also have Megan, Meghan, and Taylor. I love them all, they’re all fantastic friends…Sabrina could be better, but I still love her more than words can explain. I guess I’ve sort of become a part of their clique, in a way. We also have Hannah A (I know three Hannah’s that I talk to regularly. Good luck keeping up), Aimee, and Alex.

Even though I have a pretty okay amount of friends in real life, my closest friends are the ones in my TNRPG group. Melanie, Hannah, and Danielle. We have other people, too. Mary, Megan, and Lucy. Lucy really annoys me, but Mel, Hannah M, and Danielle are my best friends. Especially Danielle. Danielle is the most important person in my life, and I wouldn’t trade anyone for her.

I have sort of a girl-crush on Mary, I won’t lie. I just love talking to my Maru.

I have two sisters, one brother, and I live with both my parents. My brother, Bobby, is 23 and has moved out. My older sister, Sharon, is 18 and Autistic. Then there’s Hannah C, my little sister, who recently turned 14. My mom is named Relina and is four years younger than my father, who is 41 and named David. We have two cats, Vespa and Patches, and two dogs, Chewbacca ("Chewy"), and Cookie.

Aside from being extremely sad, I try to smile and help most people out. I’m extremely self-aware. I’m stubborn and a bit hot headed, and I suck with tact and knowing when to shut up. I’m honest to a fault, but I like to think, despite being a bitter asshole, that I’m a pretty nice person and easy to be around.

Appearance-wise, I’m not ugly, but I could look better. I have ratty brown hair, and a bad habit of chewing on it, so it’s all sorts of different lengths all around, though none of it goes far beyond the nape of my neck. I have green eyes, but they’re a lot lighter than most peoples eyes. I am 5"6′, and I weight 97 pounds. I’m very thin, but not in an attractive way. Maybe that’s just me being my own worst critique. I don’t have an eating disorder, I’m just…very thin. And I’ve tried to gain weight, but it doesn’t work. I wear shitty, oversized clothes to school by choice, and I refuse any makeup or styling for my hair.

My favorite color is purple, my favorite number is 83, and my favorite animals are hedgehogs…

And, yeah. That’s about all I have to say.
