Learning that several of my friends who went to college and got straight into a serious relationship have four years later broken up=bad for them, and yet good for me in that it makes me feel like less of a freak to be single around them.
Calculating the distance between Midland and A)Sarnia, B) Battle Creek, C) Lansing as driveable=good. The distance between Midland and D) Seattle, E) Denver=slightly less driveable, but one can dream. I insist upon having friends (plural) again.
Going downtown in the morning to the Farmer’s Market with Mom, seeing Charley at the coffee shop=good
Job interview tomorrow=good (fingers crossed)
Swelling in my kitty’s injured face beginning to abate=good
Email out of the blue from Starbucks Will=really good
So far today, I win.
