Chuck/Blather, in his own words

I stole this idea from Hicks, who did a similar entry for me a few years ago.

I scraped back through my notes, and pulled out a few of the gems Chuck left me over the last few years. This is by no means exhaustive (how many times would you REALLY want to read him propositioning me?), but it is a fun little glimpse into how I’ll remember the Queen:

THINLY VEILED ADVANCES

Congratulations. You left the 33,000th note on my diary. As your prize, I am arranging a photo session of your unit in a cool environment to eliminate fogging.

++ [Blather Plus]

I hereby volunteer to do your cooking AND ironing with no string attached.

did I mention you only have to walk nude through the room twice daily?

++ [Blather Plus]

RYN … yeah … maybe another picture would work. If you don’t have the ass shot … how about sticking a camera down your pants and getting me cock shot. Mind the flash!

HEARTFELT ADVICE

You are in mourning, so of course it creates a sense of HUGE sadness. There are no hard and fast rules for this, for every person is different. Some can shrug off a break like this like water off a duck. Some hold on to the hurt for years and years. Find the middle ground that allows you to grieve and then get angry and then get on with things … at whatever speed you can handle.

— [Chuck]  [p]

Hard to see in the depths of despair, but better now than after the ring was given, accepted and children kept the two of you together if it wasn’t meant to be.

That old ‘door closes / window opens’ cliche is actually true … I’m pretty sure.

— [Chuck]

PMI goes away and I can show you a way to get whatever loan you wind up with paid off sooner, saving tens of thousands of dollars in interest. A house is fantastic investment, but go at it logically and methodically, like you’re doing and give yourself some time. Ask your current landlord if you can move to a month-to-month situation and buy time. My corporate job deals with mortgages.

[Chuck]  [p]

Closure, studmuffin. Look for it twice as hard.

— [Chuck]

I so feel your yearning … and since I’ve seen you without a shirt on … a picture anyway … (yes ladies, he’s foin!) … I think you should get it over with … go approach her already. Do it. I’ll be here to comfort you when she tells you she is dating the Retard now that he’s free.

++ [Blather Plus]

Just be careful not to drop your keys.

CHUCK ON CHUCK

My K Spot is actually in the kitchen.

Which explains a lot.

++ [Blather]

Yeah. That Chuck guy. He’s so kind for a delusional coot!

— [Chuck]

Yeah. Bland sex will do that to you. I miss it.

— [Chuck]

I’m wearing some diarist boxers on my head right now and promise to wear them for a week.

++ [Blather]

Having a penis is a huge burden. I’d much rather have a large screen TV.

++ [Blather]

MORE THINLY VEILED ADVANCES

By the way … there is only one excuse for balling at the office. Me and you under my desk, baby!

++ [Queen Blather]  [p]

Send me a picture of your ass.

++ [QBJC]

RYhappychristmasN …

Then drop down my chimney naked.

If you’ll consider it, I’ll actually BUILD a chimney.

I’ll leave tuna casserole and cookies by the hearth!

++ [Queen Blather]  [p]

Marinate this.

— [Chuck]

I’m going to wait to have sex with you until after you’re married … because it will mean more to me then.

++ [Sass Squatter]

RYagentN … Will you be my agent. Just promise me … no ‘sofa’ meetings.

.

wait.

I just looked at your picture again. OK, just once.

TRYING TO EMPATHIZE

You hetero’s have such an interesting set of problems.

++ [Blather Plus</A>]

I just burned my comforter in sympathy.

++ [Blather Plus]

You are the most macho fag I have ever met.

— [Chuck]

You haven’t been here in awhile, but don’t, for a moment, forget that I KNOW what day passed by. Are you officially a fag now? Details. I want the details.

++ [Blather]

Why don’t you two sissyboys just have a big old slapfest and get over it?

Oh, and take videos. I’ll host the .avi file.

— [Chuck]

NON SEQUITUR

I’ve been thinking about your goat.

— [Chuck]

Were your ears burning on Sunday? Or at least your big hands buzzing a bit?

— [Chuck]

Once a Pod, always a Pod.

— [Chuck]

You dissed Brian Boitano and are now on my official shit list.

++ [Blather Plus]

“Strip me naked, give me a bucket, and throw me in a dark room.”

I cannot begin to share the moistness of this, combined with the short IM of support this morning.

Rock on!

THE BEST NOTE CHUCK EVER LEFT ME

I’ve learned a lot from you, too.

*grins* Tis nice to see you these days… I’m presuming you did your civic duty and went and scribbled in a vote for Mickey Mouse or something similar? *grins* Hugs

November 2, 2004

yeah, thats Chuck in his glory.

November 2, 2004

Eh? What what? I’m thinking I missed something here.

November 2, 2004

I think he had a mad crush on you.

November 2, 2004

i cannot tell you how much i loved seeing his notes around OD. really, i’d practically read people just to be able to go read his notes at the bottom. what a loss. this place feels so empty without those bold notes.

I looked for you online yesterday when I found out. I think this is a wonderful entry and I hope you are ok. Love

This was a really cool idea. He had a great sense of humor. Eric

I was never close to him, but I always loved seeing his notes on my favorites. In a way I’ll miss him… … but now you’re free from his advances so you can come to me right?

Wonderful tribute

this was an awesome entry.

November 3, 2004

Chuck was one of the first who befriended me when I got my first diary. But reading throught this I am glad I was a woman because none of my notes ever read like that.

Hey Mr. P………. what happened to Blather ???….. did he just up and leave or did something else happen ???……Hope you are doing well !!!!……Colly

November 8, 2004

RYN: What part are you not convinced about?

November 9, 2004

Was never close to him, but many of my favorites were. The notes alone that he left you says a lot about you and volumes about what a good and engimatic man Chuck was.

November 9, 2004

btw, that was a compliment to you!

November 9, 2004

Very nice. Did you know about the ChuckieB diary? It’s a tribute diary for him-if you’d like to post this there, let me know and I’ll give you the password.

November 11, 2004

Eh? Rocky 2? Eh?

November 14, 2004

RYN: Have you played either Fatal Frame game? I’ve taken your SH4 recommendation to heart, and I can’t wait to get it. 😉 It’s the one thing I’m almost positive that my mom will get me for Christmas, because she loves scary games, and she can’t wait to play the next Silent Hill.

you always get me to see things in a different perspective. thanks. (i’m not being sarcastic, either)

November 17, 2004

RYN: I will only love you again if you go out and reclaim the Republican party in the name of good sense. I know you’re “not a Republican” (“whatever”), but maybe you should sign up so not ALL of them are bible-waving lunatics. And then we can have fun again playing a nude game of “Liberal/Conservative Checks and Balances”. And BP IS hot. Have you seen him? Hott.

November 17, 2004

Wait, how did my supposed hotness get pulled into the conversation?

November 18, 2004

RYN: I wish I knew, man. I wish I knew.

It won’t be the same around here without seeing those bold notes from Chuck. I didn’t know him well, but I saw him everywhere and I feel I missed out for not taking the time to read him faithfully. Thankfully, I can read back since his diary will remain on the site indefinitely. Btw..you dissed Brian Boitano? He’s my cousin. LOL No, I’m not kidding.

November 21, 2004

ryn: it really doesn’t make sense to me either….but he made this decision before we started dating. the police academy he went to requires him to work for an agency that sponsors them…i think the only one here in kc is raytown, and he doesn’t want to work for a big town, he thinks he can do more good in a small town…but i’ve told him if we are going to ever get married…

November 21, 2004

he is going to have to really think hard about moving back. I am not moving to maryville.. ESPECIALLY after I just landed my dream job. It’s going to be tough, but hopefully it works out. I have my fingers and toes crossed. –

November 23, 2004

RYN: Yup, that’s what I’m thinking, too.

ha, what a guy. i think he would appreciate the tribute. 🙂

November 25, 2004

RYN: Well tube tops are hot, especially when bisecting the rolls of an angry plus-size mother of six.

RYN: I see how that’s the obvious inference to take from what I wrote but it’s not actually the case, it’s a lot more f’d up than that, not the usual things and not obvious at all. Sorry it seems cryptic but I just feel that some people’s confidences should be kept even in this forum. Don’t worry babe, I’m ok and have too much respect for myself to go there. You’ll just have to marry me 😉

Hullo, Darling.

November 28, 2004

I miss his fearless wit. In many ways, he WAS Open Diary.

December 31, 2004

i miss hicks (Brian). like a hole in my life. Is he still around?
