On Open Houses

I can always count on my diary pal Chuck to come through for me. Thanks again for hosting the images, my Queenly friend.

Here are the pics I took of what may possibly be my new home:

This is the view as you come in the front door.

View from the kitchen, looking into the living room.

Sunroom/extra bedroom. This is between the kitchen and the garage. Very interesting. But I liked it a lot.

Basement rec room. Maybe they’ll leave the furniture, eh? I kid!

Master bedroom. That’s my realtor rifling through their drawers.

A sample of the hardwood floors that are throughout the house.

That is SO cozy and inviting. Except that pinstriped couch. I love it! I loved househunting, too. Sometimes I consider going househunting and not telling them I already own a house, just because it’s fun to see what peoples’ lives look like. Hey! An exersaucer!

January 28, 2004

sweet, but that lime green paint reminds me of a hospital.

January 28, 2004

that sofa is making me want to do a few lines of coke! seriously brah, this place is so nice. it looks like it would FEEL like a home. hope it works out.

January 28, 2004

Colorful. Very colorful. How many square feet?

January 28, 2004

I see an Exersaucer, ask if it comes with the house! I love everything but the green paint and the fact that their coffee table in the basement is the same as my MIL’s. Both easily fixable situations! Be well,

Yeah. That Chuck guy. He’s so kind for a delusional coot! —

I LOVE hardwood floors! They completely rock. But, the light green walls will HAVE to be repainted. ;^) Eric

NICE !!!………..BEST OF LUCK with the house …… if you need any house related advice (inspection stuff or financing info) I’d be happy to answer your questions ( I design and renovate homes ) also, take the time to read EVERY line of the mortgage papers, you’d be surprised how many errors slip in there…… BEST WISHES !!!…

Hardwood floors are the best. I love the color inthe kitchen, but to echo other noters – that green paint has to go! Unless you love it, in which case, er, woo – green!

January 28, 2004

OH! How very fun!

January 28, 2004

I happen to LIKE the green paint. It’s very sage-green… earthy. And the maroon in the kitchen– nice!

January 28, 2004

Alrightee then! I’m SO stealing that house!!!!! Seriously, very nice place. You do know that I’m really crashing there in the near future, don’t you?

January 28, 2004

Very cozy looking.

RYN: Actually, I do have one question. Where do babies come from? Couldn’t resist. 🙂 I’m not sure what you mean though. What kind of questions?

IS that the infamous miss beaver? LOL! I need a laugh, come on, tell me it is! 🙂 Nice pad! Cozy!

January 28, 2004

i’d say ‘cute’ but that’s probably not what you are going for here…so I’ll just stick with the traditional ‘nice’ 🙂 I approve. –

How NICE! Sun rooms are ALWAYS a good thing. And a rec room is a MUST. *I’ve learned that the hard way* I like the tile in the kitchen. You must be SO excited!!!

Very cute little house. I wish I had hardwood floors throughout. **sigh** Maybe next year!

i have hardwood floors. they are the best and look exactly as those pictured above. i have to remember, looking at these pics, to hide some things in my dresser if we ever decide to sell. i’d hate to rendor some realtor speechless. i had no idea i could rifle through drawers when i went to buy a home. i was embarrassed to open the closets even. (i’ve changed a lot since then. 🙂

ryn: i don’t give blood anymore either. i think you have to wait so long after getting a tattoo, don’t you? i haven’t tried since getting inked.

looks cute and cozy. can i move in?

January 29, 2004

Ohyeah… I like it. Can I move in? *grins* You need a roommate? I wanna get the heck outta here in May! *grins* again. Hugs

loverly 🙂

Looks pretty nice, Hon. I wish you’d be my neighbor.

My computer crashes and you write 2 entries in one week. Congrats on the nieces/nephews (or both!) and the house. This is all so exciting!

February 2, 2004

I think it’s partially that phrase, it’s horribly degrading.

RYN: Well, I’m sure you’re right. I suppose the discussion in question was more of a swallow or not swallow. The not wasn’t really defined. :}

February 3, 2004

this is a late reply, but thanks for your sugegstions on my nail biting… they made me laugh 😉 beautiful pictures 🙂

February 3, 2004

I wasn’t looking at her tail. And no.

February 3, 2004

RYN: Your note has me curious. I’ve readded you to my IM list. 🙂 As you know, I’m NigtVamp.

Great house. Just please tell me that you will paint first. 🙂

February 4, 2004

that place looks great. those hardwood floors are usually very expensive, so getting floors like that is a big bonus. also — the sunroom/extra bedroom is excellent.

February 5, 2004

This house is awesome. It looks a little too perfect but very cool. Plus, it has a sunroom!! I love little nooks off to the side, fun fun!! Aims

February 13, 2004

Sweet, and so full of light!

May 7, 2004

Hardwood floors are nice, colors are pleasing to the eye… Up here you would NOT be allowed to take photos and if I rifled through a client’s drawers I could lose my license. Interesting system you have down there! Did you buy the house?

May 3, 2006

Looks great, love the floors, now I’m really curious as to whether you bought it or not!
