The moonlight at midnight
Last night the sky was clear, snow was still on the ground and the moon was very bright. I could have easily read a book outside (well, assuming I had my reading glasses) it was so brilliant. Moonlit nights are great for taking pictures but when there is snow on the ground beautiful scenes can be captured. All of the stars (and some of the planets, like Jupiter) were shining brightly.

A full moon in winter is pretty lovely especially when there is snow to reflect the light. I used to live surrounded by trees and loved those long shadows made by the full moon.
