China-bad. TikTok-bad.

We officially have a felon as a President. History in the making.

The wildfires are still going on tonight. I said my opinion in the last entry but I find it interesting that Newsom wants an investigation of the LA Department of Water and Power.

I knew about the fire hydrants being empty of water but also the Santa Ynez Reservoir was closed for repairs when the fires started which was an essential water source they needed. Sounds like a lot of misfortunes.

Also Biden has made the announcement yesterday that the federal government will cover 100% of the disaster costs for the next 6 months. I recently watched a video of a man who has been volunteering down in Western North Carolina since the Hurricanes hit and his statement was he hopes the people affected by the fires truly receive that funding, because he would not wish for them to go through what the people in North Carolina and Tennessee have gone through. He is basically saying he hopes they don’t get abandoned and forgotten like they are. Only 4% of the debris has been picked up since the hurricane hit. There are miles of cars waiting in line for propane tanks for heat and electricity. There is a cold front heading their way and many people are still living in tents. Including children. So, yes, I understand when he say he doesn’t wish this on anyone else.

TikTok is facing an impending end by January 19th unless ByteDance agrees to sell to a U.S. buyer. TikTok lawyers say the ban will infringe on the First Amendment, but the goverment lawyers are hyperfocused on national security concerns.

I think they don’t like how much and how quickly TikTok gets information out before the media can spin it to fit their agenda. I don’t think data being sold to China has anything to do with it. If you own a phone, they already know. They are using China as a scare tactic just like they use Russia. Since we have started school we’ve been taught that Russia, China-bad. USA-the best country in the whole world.

I also know they don’t understand that tiktok is many people’s livelihood. Many have made careers using TikTok.

Tiktok-bad. China-bad. No government control to infringe on American people’s rights-bad.

Speaking on First Amendment rights, Facebook, among many other companies are ditching their DEI programs and essentially going more “conservative”. Some say this change is coming based on the new administration that’s about to begin. If that is the case, it seems President elect-Trump is already imposing great influence before even stepping into office.
