Introduction
I guess I just kind of jumped into making a diary entry before I even introduced myself.
My name is Brittany but literally anyone who is anyone to me calls me Brit Brit. I’m not going to give my age but I’m sure some of my entries will give you an idea of how old that I am. I live in central Texas and do data entry for a trucking company. I work over nights and enjoy my job immensely.
My wife, Lee Ann and I have been married for seven years. Together, we have four kids. I don’t have any biologically children of my own, but our four are pretty much my children and they look to me like a parent. My family is very involved in my life, and I’m involved in theirs. We have a close-knit little family, in our own special way. My parents are divorced after 35 years of marriage but still have a great friendship. I have a younger sister, and she will be referred to as CD in all my entries. She’s married to her husband, who will be referred to as JD, of five years and they have two kiddos. D Cub is the oldest and is four. K Cub is two and is my heart and soul. She’s literally my soulmate and I can’t wait for you to follow along with my entries to watch how each of the Cubs grow and how our relationships grow.
I started writing in a dotted line journal in April of 2022. I was a jailer at the time. Before I was a jailer, I was a police officer. Before being a police officer, I was a 9-1-1 dispatcher. I was in law enforcement for over ten years. All of your questions will be answered in upcoming entries, I promise. If they aren’t, please do not hesitate to ask any questions you have. I have nothing to hide and will gladly answer your questions. I have a thick skin, and nothing bothers me anymore. I let things roll off my shoulders now that I’m no longer in law enforcement.
I will try to enter three entries from my journals every night that I work. But I’m not promising it’s going to be every night. Work can get kind of busy. I’m at the end of my shift tonight, so there will not be any more entries tonight. I will try to do some more tomorrow night, and I’ll try to do a more in-dept introduction soon. Tootaloo!
