Bah Humbug!!

No I am not anti-Christmas. I am anti-Christmas caroles!!!  I mean we are still eating left over turkey from Thanksgiving for goodness sake!! There is a radio station here in the "D" that plays caroles from mid-November til new years day 24 hours a day 7 days a week!! Then the corner store starting playing caroles this week too!!

Jeez, I don’t want to hear "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" any more already and it’s not even December yet. At this rate I will not be having myself "A Merry Little Christmas".

Part of it I know is just end of the year blues;

1. Every year I say I’m going to start shopping in August so I won’t be out there with the masses trying to fight over the last whatever the hot thing is. And once again I am just now starting on December 1st (pay day).

2. I haven’t done all my things that I planned on doing this year i.e. a job, a car and losing weight.

3. I tend to get depressed around the holidays. I haven’t had any problems with depression this year but I still have a fear of the holidays because I know how bad it can get from past experiences. I get nostolgic about the past, scared of the future and feeling stuck of the here & now.

Well, I AM DETERMINED!!! To have a good, NO GREAT HOLIDAY & NEW YEARS!! DEPRESSION IS BEHIND ME NEVER TO SHOW UP AGAIN!!
