OOF! Catch up time!
Too much to do and not enough time and I’m struggling to even get started on this mountain of tasks. Gotta eat the elephant one bite at a time.
I’m aiming to get one thing in each category of things done today.
Stuff for project A: Item 1: (no specifics as I can’t actively talk about the project at this time): this requires a lot of focus, reading, and responding to stuff intelligently. Item 2: prep for massive, important presentation thingy (this is effectively tightening up the presentation and stuff so it goes well). Item 3: prepping for the rest of the week’s project A stuff.
Stuff for Project B, C: Item 1: creative project that I should present for approval Monday and is needed for another project (this is also part of item 2). Item 2: massive planning document from hell designed by someone on some serious drugs (at least that is the theory). I can’t change the format so I have to make the document from hell work. Item 3: figure out when this project is going to actually happen (it’s planned sort of, it’s just a bit nebulous and not quite on my calendar).
Stuff for Project B alone (less important, probably): I need to determine the outliers in some data sets. this has been partially done for weeks. at this point, it’s probably not useful data anymore. this is low priority
stuff for project c alone: Item 1: In depth discussion with people about dumb things sometime between now and monday. Item 2: fill out a dumb form thing.
The most important and time sensitive is the stuff for Project B,C, followed by Item 2 for project A (though Item 1 should have been done by now). The stuff for project b alone is the least important and I’m going to try to ignore it though it’s weighing on me. I feel so overwhelmed and behind.
A plan: 1. Item 1 of Project A
2. Item 1 of project b, c
3. Item 2 of stuff for project b,c
4. Pray I can get some time for Item 2 of Project A tomorrow.
5. stuff the form and the discussion into Monday somehow.
I need to borrow some executive functioning if anyone has any extra. 🙂
