Confession 7

Have you ever been in a car accident?

4. Four that I can remember and these are not in chronological order.

#1. My significant other was driving and pulled out infront of someone and we were smacked on the drivers side door. It was at a busy intersection so we pulled off to a gas station. Because he had been drinking and didn’t want a DUI; we seriously switched places and I took the ticket. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. Not only did I do that, but when he had hit the car, my head hit the dash/review mirror, and I was “thrown”. Probably why I agreed to protect him. That same night I set my wallet on top of the car and drove off. Losing my nice Gap wallet and EVERYTHING important that was inside.

#2. I was driving to work and was rear-ended the day after Christmas. I had go to the ER and get checked. It was a simple fender bender I survived and got a decent paycheck because my car was poop, I was injured and missed work.

#3. I was driving from Ohio to Michigan and was 8.5 months pregnant when the car in front of me (my dad) drove over a semi truck tire. It flung back and hit my hood then windshield. It caused the windshield to shatter; glass flew all over me and into the backseat where my 3 year old was sitting. We safely made it to the side of the road, switched vehicles and proceeded to my grandmas to clean up etc etc. Literally 25 min from our exit.

#4. Coming home from Michigan to Ohio my cord on my tire blew causing my car to spin 180* hitting the guard rail. We ended up facing the opposite direction on the highway. It was 100% a Nascar mama move. No one was injured, no cars were hit, and my car was driveable. Someone stopped, helped us change a tire and we continued home.

Can I give credit to Toyota-because each of these accidents happened in the SAME car; my 1997 toyota corolla. Best damn car.

@sourapple and before I owned it, it was in an accident and hit on the drivers side door; it was a salvaged title. I think I ended up selling it for like $600.
