What’s the worst thing you’ve done to a friend?

When I was younger I lived in a nice neighborhood; lots of kids. There was a kid who lived in the next culs de sac over who I had a crush on. My best friend (who was a boy) and I wrote him a note “Meet us by the big tree ________________________” (I can’t recall the rest of the note; might have said bring money, might have said bring a treat or whatever) we delivered it anonymously and left it at his house. Remember I said it was a neighborhood full of kids? Well at some point in that same day we all convened together and he shared the note-I remember my other friend and I playing so dumb, we went along with it, we went to the big tree, we rode around, etc. etc. It was enjoyable. Well the street lights came on and it was time to head home for the night……I had gotten out of the shower to hear my parents talking to his……Little did I know that when we had typed the threatening letter I had used my dad’s business letterhead…. 😶‍🌫️ There was no anonymity…his parents knew it was me. My dad was livid because “how dare I use his business letterhead to be a bitch”-no he didn’t call me that, but seriously I was. I got in trouble for that. I had to apologize and probably was grounded. However-said kid ended up in the military (high ranking) and we went out on a couple of dates in our early 20s. 🤭
