Wuthering Heights
to a girl I used to know but know no longer.
a girl I used to write songs for.
we were the wuthering heights together.
I was the rocky shore.
you were the quivering swell of waves…
crashing down upon me with a love so deep
I compared everything to it.
that love now sleeps.
non-existent in it’s past existence.
the damages done like ice over heat.
and never really reforms
the same way again.
Twisted loves and blemished memories.
I built you up so I would never forget what you once meant to me,
even now when the meanings have all changed.
I still remember us.
In our original Days.
Back then, when we found Love.
Is it true that all found things eventually become lost again, forever migrating through the air above us like birds who return only to once again leave the flock?
If this is so then in this I trust; that one day true love will find it’s way back to us.
LLH.
Your so romantic, I started to tear up. A friend once said to me “its better to have loved then never to have loved at all”. Bull****…

I guess it just shows we have to make the most of things because everything changes eventually
