I get a date night!

Yesterday, Dave had a silent auction at work for charity and all the money from it goes to a cancer research center. I told him to bid on whatever and he called me yesterday afternoon and told me he got this leapfrog book thing for Keira and that he got us tickets to go see the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra! Now I’m not a huge fan of classical music, but I think having this night out with Dave is going to be wonderful. It’s this Saturday, and they’re having it at the Scottish Rite Cathedral which is only a few minutes away. Dave said he’d take me out to dinner first too. 😀 I don’t have anything to wear, but Dave said we’d go out Saturday morning and find me a nice dress to wear. I feel like a queen. 🙂 I’m so excited. My mom is going to come and watch Keira, so all I need to do is find something to wear!!! I hope this search for one isn’t going to drive me batty. I’m just not happy at how I look right now, and that makes finding a dress even harder. It’s easy to hide behind jeans and a sweatshirt, but not a dress. I’ve been watching what I eat lately, so that’s a start, but I need to start exercising again too. I think I’ll shed some pounds if I stick to watching what I eat, and start going on the treadmill again.

It’s been snowing off and on all day here and they said we might get up to four inches of snow just today. I can’t wait till spring. :p I just got my bed-in-bag I ordered off online and I love it! I still need to wash it and everything, but I can’t wait to put it on my bed. Well, I need to go and changed the laundry and clean up a bit.
